The Animas Riverkeeper survives based on the good will and help of corporate sponsors and personal donors.  Without the help of these generous people we could not afford to protect the vital resource that is the Animas River.  These people/ organizations recognize that this is a community resource, "owned" by all that live within its watershed, and that we are obligated to make sure that it remains a healthy resource.

Bank of the San Juans - The Bank of the San Juans offers a green checking account that donates a percentage of every check written to a not for profit organization.  Animas Riverkeeper was designated as the recipient for the last half of 2007.

Chinook Medical Supplies - Over the years Chinook Medical Supplies has consistently donated to help Animas Riverkeeper.

Katie Lee - A long time advocate working to protect rivers in the west, Katie Lee generously donated money to help the riverkeeper purchase a boat.  Katie Lee is a musician, author, and artist.  For an update on her latest works click here.

Backcountry Experience - Backcountry has supported the Riverkeepers events by offering us a place for the events to occur and offering personnel to assure event

success.
