OUR MISSION
Animas Riverkeeper’s mission is to serve as an advocate for the biological, social, cultural and physical well being of the Animas River in Colorado and New Mexico, including the protection of water quality and ecological integrity.
Organizational Goals
1) Provide ways to protect and restore the Animas River Watershed
2) Support long range planning that is compatible with a healthy watershed
3) Inform and educate the public about the Animas, its watershed, and their health
4) Engage the public in a healthy relationship with the river and watershed
